This academic partnership between the two institutions will help in creating academic and educational cooperation and creating new opportunities for the students & faculties. It also broadens both the institution international network to provide the best international exposure to their students.
Yogyakarta State University (YSU) founded in 1964, formerly known as Yogyakarta Institute of Teacher Education and Educational Sciences, is a public university located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. YSU is one of the leading universities in the country of Indonesia and it is known to be a prestigious place to study in Indonesia. It also has 3 other campuses in Yogyakarta. This university has over 32,625 students organized by 7 faculties and school, including Faculty of Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Sport Sciences, and graduated school. This university offers 67 undergraduate, 30 Master’s, and 6 doctoral programs.
One of the repute universities in Indonesia famous for its top rankings as the best university in the world, YSU focuses on improving learning, teaching, and research activities. The university operates a Museum of Indonesian Education, which exhibits information about the history of pedagogy in the country. It is located in the center of YSU’s campus.
