NSB Academy, Bengaluru hosted its 2nd HR Conclave on 11th February 2023 with a chosen theme of ‘Industry 5.0 and its applications for HR leaders'.

The conclave was graced by the presence of over 85 HR professionals in and around Bengaluru who attended the day’s event at NSB Academy’s campus, Bengaluru. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sudheesh Venkatesh, Chief communication officer and Managing Editor of Azim Premji Foundation, Bengaluru, who beautifully emphasized how India is reaping the benefits of industrialization with the slogan of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. The conclave went on to host 2 plenary sessions with key industry experts discussing themes such as 'Industry-Institute interface in the era of Industry 5.0' and 'Talent acquisition; recruiters perspective'.

The first plenary saw a galaxy of educationists and industrialists like Dr. A R Rajagopalan, Dean St. Joseph Institute of Management, Bengaluru, Ms. Kalpana G, Asst. Vice President, Aditya Birla Group, Bengaluru and Mr. Vikram Sharma, Vice President, Stride Pharma, Bengaluru, discussing the focus of industry at academics. In the second plenary, the guests highlighted the importance of attitude and soft skills in talent acquisition discussed by Mr. Laxminarayan Hegde, legal division of Volvo group India, Mr. Paneesh Roy, Advisor, Sustainability, LTI Mindtree, Bengaluru, Mr. Prasad S N, Deputy Director of SDN Institute of Management, Bengaluru. The day ended with a networking luncheon and a group photoshoot in the campus amphitheater.

NSB Academy aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia and prepare future leaders. The conclave was co-organized with industry partners like NIPM, Bengaluru chapter and BCIC, Bengaluru. We hope to continue hosting such events that bring together industry experts and professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas.
